Best shampoo and conditioner Ive ever triedFor the past decade or so Ive been experiencing thinning hair. I began doing tons of research about diet and haircare, shampoos, ingredients, pH levels, and effects of hard water. My scalp wasn’t just experiencing thinning hair, but it was itchy and inflamed and super oily, I couldn’t go without washing my hair EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. because the itching and the oil production was so intense. Last summer I got myself a shower head filter and began experimenting with different products. I went to extreme ends of the t-sal and coal tar shampoos, I bought sulfate free, paraben free, silicone free… and still didnt find much comfort from the excess grease and irritation of my scalp. 2 months ago I switched to a plant based diet and ordered this shampoo and conditioner set. Turns out I am extremely sensitive to lots of things, including fragrance. This shampoo and conditioner set checked off all the boxes for me, a product that was gentle, cruelty free, zero plastic packaging, and the proper pH for scalp and hair health. I have naturally fine hair so I love how light weight the conditioner is. After washing my hair, my hair is super shiny, smooth, and bouncy! My scalp no longer itches and I can go several days without it feeling greasy now. I am currently on day 3 hair (thats even with daily sweaty workouts), I am trying to see if I can go an entire week. I love this shampoo set! I finally feel like my skin and hair are on a healing journey thanks to this product. I hope they dont ever change the recipe because it is perfect and I will buy this for life!

Excellent plastic free shampoo and conditionerI was looking for ways to reduce my single use plastic. I cam across these and thought I’d give them a try. The packaging contains zero plastic and is recyclable! We love the citrus smell. The shape fits perfectly in your hand. They are a little hard to use when you get to the very end, just like a bar of soap. The conditioner works best if you let it sit in your hair for a bit. I don’t feel any residue or buildup on my hair. It does a great job. They are much smaller than bottles so they take up less room in the shower and in the cupboard. They are perfect for travel. Since it’s not a liquid you can take them in your carry-on and there is no chance of them leaking. Excellent product. I switched to them almost a year ago now, I won’t be going back.

baby fine hairHiBAR Shampoo and Conditioner Bar Set (Volumize). I did a lot of research prior to buying this hair product. I like both the shampoo and conditioner bar. I have baby fine hair and it makes my hair shiny and fuller. I must be careful with conditioners because of making my hair look wet and flat. I found myself touching my hair because it was so soft. The scent is pleasant. The bars last a long time. The only negative is it is hard to tell the shampoo bar from the conditioner bar. They are slightly different in color and wish they were a little more distinct in color, but it is a minor complaint. Really like this product.

Great for my hair and the environmentI have used other bar shampoos and conditions that have said they are good for “every day use”, but those made my scalp breakout. Not this shampoo and container!! I have an oily scalp so I need to wash my hair daily. I’ve had no issues with scalp breakouts. Shampoo has a nice, rich leather with a decent easy scent.Just to let people know – I wash all of my hair but only use the conditioner bar below the scalp. It’s been just fine for my hair (which is also balayaged).Try these out. It’s a good feeling to use something that isn’t plastic. Bonus is that they take up very little room on shower racks/shelves 🙂

Moisture bar performs better for my curly hairI have wavy/curly hair, natural color mousy brown with blonde color. I had previous tried the Moisture hi-bar and loved it. I was expecting this version to be even more moisturizing and it was not. And, it has fragrance whereas you can purchase the moisture bars in fragrance-free. So, I will definitely stick with the brand (this is some of the least toxic shampoo and conditioner) but will choose Moisture vs. Curly. Good luck with your hair!

Makes my hair soft and grows fasterI switched from a liquid 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner a year ago. My hair became super soft and the fly away frizz disappeared almost immediately. The shampoo bar lasted me a year. I have short thick hair I wash daily. I still have the conditioner bar that looks half used after 14 months. As an added bonus, my hair grows faster. I cut off 2 inches every 7 weeks! My hair is half brunette and half silver. There’s no dulling or discoloration of the silver.

Haven’t used yet but first impressionI thought they would be a bit bigger, a scaled photo would help this i think. Right off the bat, they smell amazing like floral roses which I love but it not overwhelming if that would be a deal breaker for you. I got the pink for curls, I have thick porous dry tight curly hair. Excited to try, will update review when I do.
