Unbelievable amount of sodiumI loved the paper packaging, and to be honest that’s why I bought it. But why so much sodium?? I did not notice the sodium when I was buying it, as I was mostly concerned with the nutritional value of the protein and carbs. I assumed that all pea protein powders have similar amounts of sodium, so I would never have looked at that. I’ve never ever had a pea protein powder with anything even close to this amount of sodium. I can actually taste the salt in my green smoothies, and in addition to it not being an ideal taste for a smoothie, it’s obviously not good for me as I am getting most of my daily allowance from one smoothie. I have no idea why it has so much sodium but I will not be buying this again. Too bad because I really do appreciate the paper packaging.

So much sodium!!!Why does this stuff contain so much sodium, twice as much as most other brands? I just now noticed after I’d already received it and opened it. I’ll have to just give it to a family member since I’m on a low sodium diet.UPDATE: Gave a couple more stars. Pure saw this review and was nice enough to offer a full refund, but I declined. It was technically my fault. Typically good products at good prices. This one was just too much sodium for me.

Great value!I’ve been using pea protein in my smoothies for years now, but this is my first time using this brand. I feel like it’s a much better value than others. I feel like there’s more in there. It seems to be lasting forever! And I was a little worried about the bag ripping, but it’s holding up just fine so far. I’ll update the review if it gives in.
