Works Well. Needs Better Instructions.First and foremost, yes, it’s expensive but this gel works as advertised! I had an open cut on my forefinger that wasn’t healing and was slightly infected. I tried the usual drug store remedies with little effect, then I came across this stuff. After two days of using the gel the results were remarkable! Healing and closure well underway.after four days it was closed and usable.That said, the instructions for use need improvement, from twisting the nozzle to open after removing the safety seal to how to remove the gel by gently washing with warm water between applications, something I recommend. As far as applying it goes, I found that a bead of gel in the cut covered with a bandaid and changed three times a day worked best.All in all it’s a great product that I won’t again be without but I urge the manufacturer to provide more meaningful and detailed instructions for use. But for this I’d have given it five stars across the board!

Not a Miracle Product for MeBased on the rave reviews and high price, I was really expecting something impressive. I have been trying to heal a scratch my son keeps picking on his face, and this didn’t seem to do much more than lotions I was using. It doesn’t heal enough overnight and then he scratches it again. I ended up using skin food, a cream that has calendula and is thicker. It seemed to stay on longer and heal faster. I will keep trying this product on other wounds, but am not overly impressed so far.

Good for bad rashWe had success with this product. My son had a bad skin reaction to an adhesive we were using for his insulin pumps. It was a horrible rash. I had used some regular eucerin ointment for a couple of days and it didn’t look that much better. I bought this Active Skin Repair product on a whim and not really expecting much. Used it one night, the next morning his arm looked 75% back to normal. It may appear pricey, but you use very little product for the surface area covered.

Best Addition to Skin Care RoutineI have a very simple skin care routine – as recommended by my dermatologist. It’s usually just cerave face wash and moisturizer. I used to have a fancier routine but a lot of products just irritated my face or just didn’t do anything special. I added this Active Skin Repair after Charles Gross talked about it on his tik tok. I don’t usually listen to influencers but his skin is so nice! I use Active Skin repair sometimes daily and sometimes only a couple times a week. It has never made my eczema flare up or caused irritation. I have a really smooth and soft face!The reason I am giving 5 stars is from when I got to witness the true magic of this product on my husband. He sometimes anxiously scratches his face to the point of having these bright red patches on his pale skin. Mid day, I convinced him to use my face wash, the Active Skin Repair, and my moisturizer and by the end of the day, the red patches were nearly gone. There was just a hint of pink. I was shocked to see how much it went down and so quickly too! I figured he’d need a regiment to get improvement. He seriously just used it once and the patches have just stayed gone. I wish I took a before and after but I didn’t expect it to work so quickly!This stuff is better than any fancy toner or oil or gel I’ve ever bought for my face. Now I put it on everything lol. There’s no like super pretty smell but honestly I don’t even think extra fragrance is good for the skin. I’m a huge fan of Active Skin Repair and it’s a staple in my skin care. I’m hesitant to write this because I don’t want to increase demand!

Needs better packagingI do love this product but the packaging needs some work. You must shake it each time to mix properly. Then when you twist the top and it’s a new full one it erupts out and makes a mess. Also when you are just trying to get a small amount out and you squeeze the bottle you always get too much product. This needs a pump container IMO to properly dispense. I did order for the 2nd time though because I do love the product. This time I will try my best to transfer it into an empty pump that I have.

seems to help!I like that this a natural product with no synthetic fragrances (it does smell a tad like bleach, which I assume is the sodium hypochlorite). I’ve been using other HOCl products for a couple years now, so this was a good addition to our remedies. The product seems to be helping heal some skin irritations. I bought the gel to start, and now have their spray as well.
