A fantastic natural sponge — one issueThis is a great natural sponge: absorbent and comfortable to hold. The tough side works well in removing food from pots and pans.My only gripe is: Occasionally, the tough side comes off. I’ve purchased two of these big packs and it’s happened to at least one sponge in each pack. The sponge and tough part are obviously both still useable, but it bears worth mentioning.

Effective, cost-efficient, environmentally responsibleI’ve been shopping for environmentally responsible household items for a long time and turned up lots of clunkers. These sponges are effective and long-lasting. Like most commercial sponges, the abrasive side needs a few scrubbings to soften it up, but it works on greasy pans and baked-on food. Best of all, it won’t sit in a land fill for a couple hundred years. Give it a try.

over a year of use!i bought these last year in late july 2021, not expecting a whole lot but really interested in the eco friendliness of the sponge and packaging. we finally had the last one from the SAME package bite the dust a few weeks ago in late september 2022! one package lasted us over year of use!! unfortunately, my boyfriend went out and got the green and yellow “normal” ones without my knowing and we’ve already been through two of those sponges in less than a month!i’m super impressed with just how well these hold up to moisture and grime. giving these 5 stars for durability is genuinely a massive understatement, i wish i could give 10! they don’t grow mold or get that weird musty smell, they stay looking clean for a very long time and wash out easily. i’ve put them through my dishwasher on the top shelf and they’ve held together for a very long time. they also stay slightly spongey when dry vs the “normal” green/yellow ones that get hard as a rock as they dry out. the top scrubber is harder working than most of those green scrubby pads! i think the only reason we’ve had to toss them is that the scrubby part does eventually separate from the sponge part (i don’t care but for some reason my boyfriend does) or they get irreparably damaged from something crazy like paint.normally, i would say who cares about a sponge but these really are out here being both eco-friendly and also NOT garbage! the opposite of garbage! better than the usual!

Worth it!These sponges work just as well as your regular store-bought sponge! Personally, I feel like they last a little bit longer than your average sponge too, which is always nice. The only reason I deducted a star is because the brown part is very stiff and takes a few washes to soften up and it can also poke you too; it won’t break skin, but it is a little sharp sometimes! But once softened, it’s perfect.

Great Sponges but Don’t Last LongLove these sponges. They are great for cleaning and biodegradable! My only complaint is that they aren’t super durable. I’ve used other biodegradable sponge brands in the past that lasted more than a week if cleaned and maintained properly, and I can’t say the same for these.
