Bought for a cruiseBought these to take on a recent cruise as I’d been hearing complaints about the new candy straws the cruise line was using. I also didn’t want to bring silicone because I was afraid my kids would end up loosing them. These were perfect! They hold up as well as plastic and much better than mushy paper!

Best biodegradable Straws out there. They feel like a plastic straw.If you have not tried this straw, but want biodegradable that doesn’t crack or melt in your mouth. This is it. I am amazing by them every time I reorder. I also buy the smoothie sized versions and they are equally as durable. They feel exactly like traditional plastic straws. Idk who made these, but THANK YOU. YOU ARE A GENIUS. PLEASE MAKE PLASTIC CUPS OUT OF THIS STUFF.

Much better than paper straws!I use these straws for smoothies each morning and they are as sturdy as plastic straws. They don’t flavor what you’re drinking at all and it feels good to do something small for the environment. Would definitely recommend.

Not for hot drinksAssumed the bamboo would be more firm than the other sustainable straws. Still collapsing when using hot drinks. They do rebound shape, but would have to sip super slow to use. Other than that, very pleased with.

Biodegradable but STURDY! Great plastic alternative.Exactly what I was looking for. Biodegradable but sturdy enough for a half day’s worth of beverage drinking. I’ve been buying these for the last year or two, no issues with the product itself. The packaging however.. I think the box needs to be sealed better because Amazon throws it in a thin plastic package and by the time it gets to me the straws are falling out so you have to be really careful. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Fantastic environmentally friendly alternativeHolds up extremely well in use, but you can tell that it’s a natural material when you handle it dry. It’s probably the best substitute for plastic straws that I’ve ever come across, and I’d highly recommend that you give it a try if you’re on the fence.
