No frills trash bagsWhile these don’t have pull-ties or even pre-shaped handle for tying, they get the job done. Not as durable and puncture proof as the “stretchable” designs, this is of solid enough construction to get the job done without any issues in normal use.

Durable… misleading on “recyclable”These trash bags are very durable. The reason I removed a star is because the title can be a bit misleading. It’s eco-friendly statement lead me to believe it was recyclable, but it really is just made from recycled materials. This in itself starts being eco friendly, but still has an impact on the environment of not being recyclable not compostable again.To be fair, I went with compostable bags, but they are so fragile, I ended up ripping the bag in half every time I pulled it out of the trash. That is why I came back to these.

Waste of moneyI bought these garbage bags as I have been trying to be more environmentally conscience. I was getting my recycled plastic garbage bags from Grove and they were excellent but due to supply issues they kept being sold out so I researched recycled garbage bags here on Amazon. I had previously purchased a brand here that I loved but could not find them this time so I made the decision to try this brand. Many of the reviews were very positive but there were those that warned about the thiness. I chose to ignore those reviews and wish I had not. I have to double and triple bag my garbage due to cereal boxes tearing the bags. Only takes a corner on a box to rip these bags. The only use I have found for them is cleaning up dry leaves but do not try to compress the leaves to get more in or they will tear! My recommendation would be to spend the extra money and buy a name brand. You will use less plastic since you only need one bag and you will come out even on your money as you will not be wasting bags to double or triple your garbage. FYI my garbage pickup provider has a 15lb. Weight limit on bagged garbage so the weight is not the issue.

Sadly, most people are using WAY TOO MUCH virgin plastics in our world. These Reli plastic bags made from recycled materials are very good alternatives to the trillions of horrible virgin plastic trash bags that are polluting our planet and destroying our world for future generations.
