   Old fashioned bedding for a great sleepI have been looking all over the Internet for 100% cotton mattress pads -and although I was hesitant to buy this one because of the high price, this soft, dense, inviting fabric was SO worth it. The absorbent nature of this cotton pad is perfect for sleepers who experience a change in temperature throughout the night… No more waking up in a sweat like I used to with that nasty polyester bedding!

   Great customer service!The first one sent to me had stains on them so I contacted customer service and they sent me another one!I first washed it and it shrank a bit but still fit my mattress! It’s perfect!

   Excellent Mattress PadBought two TwinXLs for our Saatva split king bed and they fit perfectly. They wash well together in my front loading washing machine. I’ve dried them in the dryer and on the line in the garden, no shrinking or misshaping. Very pleased!

   Size matters!I received our king mattress cover. When I can, I try to get quality. This was a bit of an expense, but I thought it would be worth it. We also try to have only cotton or natural fibers. Off the bat the mattress cover seems to be good quality. Worth $165? Not sure, but I think it’s a matter of supply and demand. Most are made with polyester so if you make yours of 100% cotton, you’re in the minority and can charge more.This was kind of a splurge. After all it goes under the fitted sheet. You don’t even see it. It’s about comfort, but still quite expensive. Okay, I know what I was getting in to. So, it’s not unreasonable to expect a high quality product and service, right?I open the box and there it is in a plastic bag, which was obviously already opened and then taped closed with clear scotch tape. It was also taped over with the wide clear packing tape. It was a bit of a mess. I was disappointed to see this LACK of quality considering what I paid. Come on!? Whisper Organics, couldn’t you at least repack it in a descent bag and not tape it up like some elementary school art project? After that negative first impression I didn’t know what to expect to find inside the fancy bag.I’m happy to say that the actual product seemed good. I opened it and spread it out on our standard king mattress which measures 80′ X 77′. On the the amazon page, the king mattress cover measurements are 82′ x 78′, so I thought that was good. Out of the bag it was exactly what they said. It was bigger than our mattress by a few inches, but no problem. I washed it following the directions exactly, in warm water and dry on low. I put it on the bed and it was a little small. But not terribly in my opinion, but yours might be different. I measured it post washing and drying and the new dimensions are 76.5′ x 73′. So it shrinks in length about 5 inches and in width 5 inches too. Sounds pretty bad but it still looks good on the mattress and covers it pretty well.I appreciate that they make them extra large knowing that they will shrink, but they needed to add a few more inches to that. What I don’t understand is, why don’t they prewash all the fabrics and pre-shrink them to avoid these problems!? Come on, it’s not rocket science. I noticed too that the top surface of the mattress cover is square, but most mattresses are not perfectly square, but have rounded corners and are wider in the middle of the sides than they are near the corners. So this exaggerates the shrinkage.What’s most important is that it covers the mattress mostly very well and it definitely seems like good quality. I hope, like a good pair of jeans that it will relax with use and fit more comfortably over time.In spite of some of the issues I do recommend this pad but I would recommend washing in cold water and dry with absolutely no heat or hang dry, which could be tricky. It’s large and you will need a very dry sunny maybe breezy day.I might update this review after we actually put it to the test. I guess if I haven’t updated, that’s good news.

   Simply amazingEverything is excellent about this mattress pad. We decided to use this as a mattress protector and a pad as most mattress protectors have synthetic materials such as vinyl. We wanted all natural fabric and this pad met our needs. It is all cotton, even the sides. Excellent quality and quilted with cotton inside. Just amazing. Smells like a natural cotton. No offensive chemical odors. I still washed it as I do with everything before use. I am beyond happy!

   Great quality but always a bit too smallI purchased four (5including one return) from this seller. This is 100% cotton with no filler to bunch up or deform in the was so it is great. You must wash it in cold or lukewarm water and also low heat dry it accordingly. Otherwise it would shrink!I am overall very happy with this mattress protector and would buy it again. The only two things I wish they adjusted is the size and the elasticity of the bottom to grip better. It is exactly the size and the of your mattress only when you pull it on super tight but as soon as you get in bed it comes off the edges and acts as if it was smaller. See my uploaded photos. Otherwise it is well priced, breathable and great product.

   Great product and even better sellersOrdered the King size protector back in December 2022. Warehouse fulfillment sent me the Queen size instead. I used the return service to ask for a replacement, then the warehouse sent me the King sized encasement (not protector) which did not fit my mattress at all and was an entirely different product. This time, Amazon support refused to do another replacement and the price had gone up. Their suggestion was to re-buy at the higher price even though it was their warehouse that made the mistakeS. Dealing with support was extremely frustrating and you could tell they did not bother to even read my messages. Instead I got sent a pre-canned cut&paste response telling me to go pound sand.I decided to reach out to the seller directly and they were extremely responsive and I got a reply within 1 day. They took the time to understand the issue and sent me the correct replacement immediately after just one message. The product is great and as described, I just really wanted the right one so I could use it finally. Thank you to the sellers for fixing someone else’s mistake and being so gracious about it!

   Fits perfectly after initial wash. No static. Very comfortable.So far, it’s been great! Very comfortable and of excellent quality. Fits deep pillow top mattress really well. Can’t believe I suffered with one of those super staticky synthetic covers for years.
