Disburses heat well!I bought this little fan to distribute heat from my gas fireplace in case of a power outage. I finally got ro use it last week when the lights went out. The room that the gas fireplace is in was significantly warmer with the fan than it had been the last time the power went out and I didn’t have it. Since it runs off of the head of the fireplace, I didn’t have to worry about plugging it into anything, so it is the perfect solution.

Get what ya pay for.Decent only. The fan blade: do not look at it, because it might fall off. I bumped the blades lightly and they fell off.

Not what I expectedFirst this is a quality product. Looks great and works as advertised except it doesn’t push or circulate air as much as I expected it to do. I can barely feel the air off it standing two feet away. Now I’m using it on a propane stove and it may work better on a wood burning stove. The heat off propane burners has its own current and it may just be over powering the air off the fan. I don’t know. But it stirs the air and even after I cut the propane stove off, the fan works for 20+mins until it cools down. So it helps some. Just not as much as I was hoping. Makes NO noise.

No plugs needed! I love that we don’t have to plug anything in. We just set it, and forget it! Fan automatically starts when the fire gets hot. It’s very quite and does a good job moving the air!

Bit the dustWorked wonderfully…for about exactly one year. Just stopped working, motor must have died or a bearing or something seized in the fan. I played with it a bit, but the fan simply quit the other day and that’s it. Quiet, great fan whole it actually worked…To be fair we run out stove a lot so the fan spins nearly the entire winter, but we don’t overfire our stove.

Quiet and what expected.. except wobbly bladeJust a little disappointed that the blade has a wobble doesn’t cause any noise or any problem but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to last with a wobble

Great little productA great idea for moving heat around in a room. Only problem is the fan is too small to be effective in a good sized room. Fan gets to a really high speed but very little air output
