Nice scrubberMy son loves Japanese comics. I thought if I bought Japanese style “sponge” he would do the dishes.Did not work. He still doesn’t wash dishes.On the mother’s hand, it is a great scrubber!Left spaghetti sause on a basic deep pan. With water, soap and the scrubber it washed really well. Fits in the hand and was able to wash sides and inner edges well.Tride on a muffin pan fits in the cups perfectly and easy to twist and scrub.

Works well on cast ironWorks great on cast iron. You may hate the texture in your hand when it’s wet, though. I don’t mind it, but it is very rough.

Not Stainless SteelNot Stainless Steel, description is wrong. The metal used in these brushes is just normal magnetic steel that will rust in a wet environment. I took a picture of a fridge magnet stuck to the end of the brush. If you want a brush that uses stainless steel or a food grade metal in its construction than this is unfortunately not the product for you. I hope that the listing is revised to correct the false claim of using stainless steel.EDIT Updated to 4 Stars, I have been used these brushes extensively for washing vegetables and they are fantastic. Even though they are not stainless steel but they are a great product, perfect for cleaning carrots, potatoes, radishes etc… the bristles could benefit from being slightly stiffer but they do a very good job as is. I will purchase these again and I recommend them to anyone in need of a vegetable scrubber.

Clean up your mess with these well made brushesScrub the hell out of your pots with these brushes with no fear of damage. These little MFs really do a good job and I was surprised. The brushes are just the right amount of stiffness to clean but won’t damage. Even teflon cleans up with no apparent scuffs or abrasions. Give them as gifts and reap years of accolades as your friends speak of you on high for decades to come. Don’t be surprised if they lift you on their shoulders and parade you about town as their personal lord and savior. “Behold the Brush Bequeather!! Behold! Behold!”

Really great for what they were designed forI bought these because they were recommended to replace sponges for cleaning dishes (Epicurious mag). I don’t think they are particularly good for that. However, they are great vegetable cleaning brushes – something that Covid19 makes more important than previously. The review here asked me to rate them for thickness, easy to hold, ergonomic – none of these make any sense to me. They are good for scrubbing vegetables. They have no handle, so you grab the bristles on one side and scrub veggies on the other side. The bristles are a good degree of stiffness. They are soft enough to clean well and hard enough I don’t tend to push them into the vegetable with too much pressure. The bristles have not tended to break or shed so far (about a month of use). I love the little ring that allows me to hang them (using a shower hook, on a line over my sink, so they can dry. Glad I bought them, but I wonder what the people at Epicurious were smoking when they recommended these for dishes!

For more than just vegetables!I bought these as an alternative to sponges in the kitchen and scrubber brushes for cleaning. These work great for cleaning things other than vegetables. Although I have used them on veggies as well and they work as expected.
