Update International (SD-AC) Acrylic Straw DispenserI’m giving this a three star because it came with one piece rolling in the bottom of the box. No protection for this product what so ever. Luckily I was able to jam the knob back onto the swindle thing that dispenses the straws. I also didn’t think it needed to be so big. Takes up a ton of counter space. The rotating cylinder is slightly loose and doesn’t sit right. Doesn’t dispense straws with crinkles (bendy straws). They have to be straight as can be. Other than these cons. It’s a great idea, just needs a tad bit more perfection.

I won’t purchase this againIt is possible that I received a dispenser that does not work as it was intended. Perhaps my dispenser was damaged by the manufacturer. Or perhaps it doesn’t work because it was cheaply made. Maybe my dispenser is the only one that doesn’t work. But essentially my dispenser rolls and rolls, but nothing comes out until you shake it, or after reaching maximum annoyance, you throw it onto the floor and straws spill out. This dispenser is a crap toss; roll the dice and hope to get lucky.
Very useful product. SadlyI use it for pencils in the classroom. Very useful product. Sadly, when I received the product it was broken. I simply superglued it, and all was fine.
It also works for pencils (at school or home)I work at a school and I find pencils constantly laying here and there. I saw this in a teacher’s classroom and thought it was a fantastic idea. So I bought it. I’m so happy to put my sharpened, sanitized pencils (from my PhoneSoap) into this dispenser.

Perfect!Like so many others, I purchased this to use as a pencil dispenser in my classroom. It works like a dream. School has not started yet, so I’m not sure how it’ll stand up to constant use by my students, but I’ll update if it doesn’t turn out as great as I think it will. The only negative was that the first 2 dispensers I received were cracked, but Amazon replaced them quickly with free one-day shipping and it was really easy to return them. The third one was perfect!

Get what you paid forSometimes the straws get stuck if they are not perfectly straight but I didn’t expect it to be perfect. I read other reviews and was aware of the downfalls but my 3 year old grandson loves it and has fun getting his own straws.

Not that satisfiedThis product is cute but it’s hard for straws to come out.
Just OK.Acceptable for straws; takes a few turns back & forth before a straw actually falls into place. Seems like it might not last long with heavy use. I can understand how it would be useful to dispense pencils.

Resilient & cuteGreat for storing pencils, looks cute, but students jam it up all the time. Waiting for it to break, but it’s surprisingly resilient against my kindergarteners!

Straw dispenser? Nope not for me, a pencil dispernser! The acrylic dispenser is strong and well made. It beats spending $80 on other staw dispensers and when your a teacher, buying cheap and being well made is the perfect combination! I used colored paper and measured all sides and was able to glue our school color onto the inside of the straw dispenser and it became a pencil dispenser for students! The students will love this new gadget for the classroom!
