Perfect for buying bulk ingredientsI bought these to bring to Sprouts so I could purchase bulk ingredients like rolled oats, rice, lentils and such. I love them! The tags are a nice touch too. They are well made and they came in an eco friendly package, although amazon added some random plastic around it which is usually does. I recommend purchasing the product straight from the leafico website to reduce plastic waste. The website has some other cool reusable products as well.

Very Thin FabricI am having the “hardest” time finding decent cotton produce bags these days. Everything I have tried is poorly made or the fabric is so thin, or both. These produce bags looked well made, but the fabric is so thin. I don’t think they would have held up to large, heavy, or bulky produce. I also don’t think they would have been able to hold enough moisture to preserve my produce. For example, I like to get my produce bag wet with cold water, wring it out, and add my moisture-loving produce (like cabbage) and then slip it all in a plastic produce bag so it stays moist. This method really preserves my produce. I do the same with asparagus and it has lasted up to ten days!Oh well, I shall keep searching.

Smaller than I expectedWork ok but I expected them to be larger than they are I guess because ad said “large”. They work but are a bit tight for what I’m using them for! Love that their cotton and have little tags to write the contents on.

Perfect and versatile!What a great product! I am delighted that these are 100% cotton and there is no plastic closing mechanism at the top. These will help me a great deal. I am well on my journey of plastic free / eco-friendly / zero waste thanks to these bags. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future, especially in the larger sizes. I am showing my hand with them to give you an idea of the scale / sizes. I purchased the small and medium to start, so I can bring them to the grocery store with me. But now that I am seeing them, I am thinking that on the one hand they may be too small for some circumstances but perfect for dust covers of items, corraling items when you travel, the small is perfect for a coin purse and wallet alternative … if you think long enough, the possibilities are endless.As for the shrinking issue … well, they are 100% cotton (which does shrink quite a bit). It is NOT a defect or flaw in the item, and should not be described as such simply because they shrunk more than anticipated. I know some immediately throw away all the cards and such often enclosed with items. Do not do that with this item! The washing / care instructions are clearly written out.I 100% recommend this item and will be budgeting for more in the future.
