Build or lay a platform for easier spout access.These are fairly decent for the cost. After 3 seasons, they haven’t faded despite one being in dirrect sunlight all day long. My son did break the top of one this winter (not meant for doing back flips off of…) but otherwise for NORMAL use these are great.Best thing though, these were shipped out hours after I ordered them! Arrived next day! That was crazy fast for a big item.

Nice Rain BarrelsNice rain barrels. We were able to cut the screen on top of the barrel to fit, and the downspout empties right into the barrel. The barrel came with everything needed for an easy install, including plumbers tape for the brass spigot.Really fast shipping. I ordered 3. A two pack and a single, all in dark oak. My only disappointment; the two pack arrived and I got one in dark oak and one in khaki. I really like the khaki too so I didn’t send it back.The individual barrel was shipped right away and still has not arrived, but is supposed to today. The seller has had great communication with me and reached out to me even before I knew there was a delay due to a problem during transit.

Spigot attachment leaks.The spigot leaks, poor design to have a plastic inlet for the spigot. Spigot is low flow – another poor idea. Barrel functions as it should other than comments above.

SurpriseThe barrels themselves are nicely made, but you can tell they weren’t laser cut, the hole is not a clear cut at all with plastic pieces hanging. And if we didn’t wash it out that whole piece would have just been floating in there.

Lead Content Not Mentioned in Sales MaterialThe shape and size of the barrel is acceptable. I chose it because of wood look. The product is plastic which should be ok for watering plants and lawn. To my dismay, the lead content was not mentioned in the sales material and the collected water will not be safe for watering garden or using with animals. I am terrible disappointed with my choice. It was too expensive for the look and minimal use.
