Well built and easy to read.This floating thermometer has a nice solid feel to it. The dual displays make it easy to read at a distance and from multiple angles so you can leave it floating around in to pool. The readings agree with other equipment I have on my swimming pool so it seems accurate.

Takes a beating in Arizona sunshineI like being able to read the pool temp without finding the thermometer and trying to read the “mercury” level. These only last a season in full Arizona sun and 110 degree summer days. You can change from Fahrenheit to Celsius if you prefer.

Gets FoggyI like the solar feature and the dual sided display. But, after a couple of months in the pool, the lenses are fogging up. I have checked for a loose connection and could not easily tighten it anymore for fear of damage. It is located, and tied up, in a location where there should be no splashing. I like the unit and hate to see this problem.

Best digital pool thermometer out there, just be careful with the buttonThis would be a five star review if it wasn’t for the button to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit, but more on that later.The Good:The easiest to read and you don’t have to worry about batteries since it has a solar panel on it. I can actually read this from inside the house which is amazing. I have found the temperature to be very accurate.The Bad:The button is large and rubber which breaks down in the sun even without using it. Once it becomes brittle, it will allow water inside and can kill it. I am on my second one and with this one, I am going to put a blob of silicone on it to better seal/protect it.Overall:As I stated, I bought another one after my other one got water in it. I have looked around and I can’t find one that looks as good as this one. I hope to be able to prevent the same thing from happening to this one. I hope that they fix the button as you only ever need to hit this button once at most. I recommend and would/probably will buy again.

Large diaplayI love that I can read the display from a distance, I can see my pool from my sunroof window and I’m able to see the temperature, and decide if the weather here in canada has been warm enough to warrent a swim

Works as described.The ONLY issue I have is that is measures the temperature in our pool at a depth of about 8 inches. I now realize I need to subtract about 3 degrees F to get the true pool temperature.
