   Nice Hammock, Good ValueI’m very pleased with this hammock. It was purchased to replace a weather worn hammock that was supported on a metal stand. The quality of materials and construction appears to be fine, although time will tell. The cotton rope is soft and smooth to the touch, not scratchy as some can be. The included hardware, s-hooks and chain, appear to be made from stainless steel. They worked fine with my existing hammock stand.The only negative, and it’s not a serious one, is that the cotton roping has quite a bit of initial stretch to it. The first 6 times or so that I used it, I had to shorten the chains each time, otherwise it rode too low. It seems to have stabilized now and I no longer need to adjust it.Happy with the purchase.

   Rope too stretchy to useThe base is fine; the hammock is not. The rope on the hammock is so incredibly stretchy that it is impossible to use. My 65 pound daughter weighed enough to touched the ground when she laid in it. We tried stretching it tighter between trees and even at maximum width were still completely wrapped and only a few inches off the ground.

   Miss the hammocksThis hammock is not at all what I expected or thought it would be. I should have guessed that you get what you pay for, and for $55.00, it would not have been much. Two people could not fit in this hammock unless they were children, and I wouldn’t dare let anyone over 300 lbs. in it, much less 450, which is what it states. I am 5 ft. tall, and it is short for me, with barely a foot from my head and feet to the wooden bars. Many of the ropes are frayed, so that is concerning. Our 5 year old hammock never even showed any wear. We bring it in during the winter months, and it is kept under our back patio. But, this hammock looks like it is something for kids, not adults. I am very disappointed.

   Wood snapped within minutes of putting upMy 6 year old daughter asked for a hammock for her birthday, so I ordered her this one. I ordered it well in advance, and unfortunately it is now a few days past the return window. I opened it to set it up this morning and after it was hooked I pressed on the hammock, in the middle. I had put very little pressure when the wood snapped. Pretty unhappy with the quality.

   Not as advertisedVery unhappy with this product, it does not fit in the stand. Hammock hangs so low a 100 lb person will drag or hit hit the ground while using it
