Great Camp KnifeThis is a must have if you are looking for a great bush knife. Made from 3061 high carbon steel, this knife takes and keeps an edge like none of my other 40+ knives. It is hand made by an artisan who obviously cares about his craftmanship. The knife comes wrapped in paper and is pre-oiled out of the box. All I did was some minor clean up, reoil and she is ready to go. The steel blade is finished to a high shine (looks like stainless steel). The BPS brand is so good I ordered two other models in the BPS lineup.

All work no hypeI didn’t know anything about these knives until a camp friend told me his experience with it. For my use ( bushcraft camping) this is by far one of the best knives I’ve ever used! And I have used and carried some of the biggest names (and price points). So as far as my personal experience goes I would put this right up there with ANY of the big name big price knives. But just my experience/opinion speaking. I’ve used this on several camping trips so far and it checks off every box. It’s handled every camp chore I’ve thrown at it. It’s got good edge retention, good grips, a flat 90° spine for fire striking, the blade (for me) is in that perfect sweet spot for size and profile. I’ve processed game with it and cut kindling The only addition I would make is some jimping on the spine for blade control with fine tasks. I recommend this as an option for camping and camp chores hands down.

Great, basic bushcraft knifeSo first, I love that this knife is made in Ukraine. I’m happy to support a business there that’s thriving while that country is under attack.This knife is really well made as a basic bushcraft tool. It’s not one of the huge ones, but it checks all of the right boxes for me. Carbon steel, full tang, wood handle (nicely book matched, removable scales), choil, 90° spine, decent leather sheath, and it fits nicely in my medium to large hand. Pretty sharp out of the box, but you know I’m going to spend a little time with it on the strop anyway, right? I mean, we can always improve things a little. It’s what most of us do! At this price point especially, you just can’t beat the quality. Combine it with a good hatchet or pack axe, and you’ll be able to handle most outdoor chores with this knife. Take care of it by linseed oiling the scales and keeping the blade clean and free of moisture, and it will last a lifetime.

My Favorite KnifeThis is currently my favorite knife. I did baton it on a tree stump. I have also whittled sticks with it. It has held up in both ends of the spectrum of tasks. I have not yet used the fire starter yet. I haven’t had any issues with the knife and don’t see any folding, nicking, or bending of the metal. The wooden handle is super comfortable to hold, and the sheathe is a nice excellent. While writing this review, I’m contemplating buying another one.

Great knife for kitchen or campIve tried to use this knife for everything from the kitchen to bush craft to working around the property, I intended to tear this thing apart through use and abuse. I do need to say that when I say “abuse” I do not mean neglect. I take care of it and it continues to be the perfect tool to have with me. I have respect for this knife. I do my part and it does everything I need it to do.A knife like this at this price point is a wise purchase.4/18/2023 I have been torturing this knife and I am so impressed. Luv th quality!I am so impressed by this knife..th sheath itself is worth th money..I was watching a Dave & Nick video as he did a video on both of these new knives..I chose th full tang cuz that’s my “thing”..Th price was right so I took th chance..aside from my Mora Bushcraft Black, it is a new EDC for me..I’m luvin it..it was a must for me to oil it good, altho I may put a patina on it so it won’t rust, it is 1095 steel, perfect w a ferro rod, which it comes w, sharp on th spine already..I won’t use this ferro rod but keep it in its place as an emergency rod & use th one on my carry evryday..I’m glad I purchased this knife..I’m proud of it already..🤗

Well deserved 5 star product for a great price.Excellent quality knife and sheath (sheath alone is worth the purchase price) at a great price that will perfectly do whatever you demand from it. No need to pay $100+ for a bushcraft knife you will beat the heck out of, this knife stands up to the punishment.Seriously, who cares if it’s 1066 steel and will rust easier than more expensive steels, its a knife you beat up, coat it in oil and sharpen/hone as needed.

Amazing knifeNot sure why there is any bad reviews. This is an amazing knife, razor sharp out of the box. Has an amazing sheath too. It’s carbon so if you don’t take care of it after you use it will rust. If you don’t like rust then buy stainless but this keeps its edge a lot better and longer than stainless keep that in mind when buying.Update: I have used It heavily and still going strong after months, I do strop and sharpen it once a week or after each backcountry or camp trip. The Rod sucks but the knife and sheath are a great deal and my favorite go to out of my collection.

Incredible valueThis bushcraft knife is a fantastic value. If you keep it wiped with mineral oil it give you no grief with rust. The leather sheath is very well done. The scandi grind is very precise and sharp; easy for a schmuck like me to sharpen. The scales could be sanded and oiled to personal preference; and this I did do. A very good camping/bushcrafting knife by any standard; a fantastic value when you compare it. Highly recommended.
