Express Setup:
- Tile the canopy where you want to build.
- Stretch beach canopy to the max.
- Fill the sandbag with sand or stones as much as possible.
- Pull the canopy fabric over the pole and place the top of the black plastic ball approximately 1.5 feet from the corner.
- Connect the pole top to the canopy fabric corner by attaching elastic cord tightly.
- You can install four poles or two.

Practice at home before!!Before you head out to the blazing sun PRACTICE at home bc I almost had a heat stroke messing with this at the beach. First, it’s NOT SINGLE USER friendly. If it’s windy and you have no helping hand, it’s gonna be tough to put together.I set it up over and over for about 15 mins only for it to keep collapsing from the wind. You think you have enough sand? ADD MORE SAND. That’s key.I almost gave up until a group shower up w the same exact canopy and helped me with mine. Thank goodness for them! They agreed with it being tough to figure out the first time but once you do, it’s smoother sailing.The canopy held up the entire time we were at the beach and it was getting pretty windy. But still wondering if a pop up canopy is a little more mom friendly.

You get what you pay forIn a sea of Shibumi’s this saves your wallet. It won’t work right on strong windy days. The fabric is too thin and will stretch too far to be able to hold it upright.Setting it up went up easier the second time around. Putting it up the first time was quite the struggle. I suggest stretching out all four corners and filling the pockets with sand before you raise the poles.By the time we got to our second beach trip the zipper corroded and won’t work properly. If it was an all plastic zipper the bag would last longer.All in all it is a good value if you don’t want to spend $200 on a wind sail Shibumi.

Good product, great customer service I bought the 10×10, four pole tent for a beach trip. The tent was extremely light to carry to the beach, simple to set up and easy to take down. One person can put it up and down – we did and it was not an issue.NOTE – you should buy a scoop to make it easier. It does not come with one. The scoop I got was 82 oz. on Amazon. Yes, you will need multiple scoops of sand in each pocket and the extra $5 you spend will absolutely be worth it.One of the poles was damaged, but we made it work with three poles. I sent an email that week to the vendor asking for a replacement pole. The next day was incredibly windy and a different pole bent. We still used the tent with two poles. Since it was so windy, the tent actually worked better that way and we didn’t have any other issues. If it’s as windy as the video I added, only use two poles.The 10×10 comfortably fit five to six adult chairs in total shade. If you were ok with tighter quarters you could fit more and especially if they were kids. If you want to lay out I would say three to four.The vendor got back to me quickly and ended up sending a whole new set. This was a nice surprise since I had only asked for two replacement poles.Even with the pole issues this was a much better alternative than the traditional heavy metal expanding tent. We had multiple people ask us what it was and where we got it. One improvement would be spikes for use in grass as well. Not sure how well these poles would do on ground vs sand.

Easy to set up and take downI bought this to take on our beach trip. It was easy to set up and take down. I gave it 4 stars because even though it was sturdy it didn’t hold up in strong winds but neither was most of the umbrellas on the beach during that time either. We could fit 5 of us under it at once with plenty of room.

Wish it came with a shovelI would have given this 5 stars if it had come with a shovel. Looks like it once did but the shovel is whited out on the package. Got the 10×10 and you have to fill the 4 corner sand bags up with A LOT of sand!! The fabric is stretchy so they hold (and need) a lot more sand than you think. Someone at the beach had the same tent (different brand) and theirs came with a deep shovel. They lent it to us and I’m so glad they did!! I’ll be buying one soon. To assemble- lay tent out like a blanket, fill corners with sand (like really fill those babies up!) Stretch it all out flat and then start shoving your poles in raising the tent up. Then you put little bungies (bungies included) around the balls at the top of the pole to secure the fabric of the tent to the pole. If you don’t fill the sand bags and stretch the whole thing out first, it doesn’t hold tight. I have no doubt this tent will hold up to some fierce beach winds. Oh, and if you think you’ll ever have more than 2 people under the tent at once buy the bigger 10×10 tent. Always better to have too much space than not enough anyway.

Great Beach Tent!!! Honestly I was in the market to buy a Sun Ninja, which I am sure if you’re reading this most of your were thinking about doing the same also. Until you and I both saw how ridiculously expensive it was to buy it. So I dug deep into Amazon and decided to give this tent a try.PROS:Fast set-up. It took me about 5 minutes, so not terrible at all. Superlite weight, great carrying bag, and sturdy fold out poles. Nice fabric quality, UT really had a great stretch to it. Although I must say I may have over stretched this tent but it was not an issue once I got the poles up.CONS:I only had two issues.1) I wish it came with four poles but buying another two poles it still cheaper than buying a Sun Ninja.2) You really do need to buy some sort of trawl or tiny shovel to get a lot of sand into the pockets quickly. If I didn’t have one from my gardening tools I would’ve had to buy one for sure. This thing needs it.To consider: Get two more poles and get two shovels you’ll want some help filling up those other bags just to get things going faster in that hot summer sun.
