Jury is still working but initialing wrap tears easily.Tears easily and does not stick well when wrapping something. I hope it will work as it is a great idea!

  2. E. Neal Blanchard

Frustration in a boxExcedility is difficult to use as it really wants to stick to itself. I am surprised they are still in business. Must be many people like my wife who pretend it matters. It doesn’t. It should be biodgrabale because most will just toss it in the trash.

For a greener earthI’ve been looking for a plastic film that is compostable. I bake a lot and use cling wraps very often. Wanting to reduce my carbon foot print, I was so happy I found one that is compostable. However, it is really difficult to get a clean cut. I wasted so much trying to get a whole piece. Everytime I roll, it gets cut off mid way – it is very flimsy. The “cutter” doesn’t really work, I sort of have to attach the ones from my Costco brand. Having said that- I will still use it and just figure out a way that I won’t be wasting as much, even though they are compostable. Patience required if you wanted to use this product ☺

  4. Hoorieh Jodairy

Not easy to tearA good product but it is not easy to tear apart.

  5. Taeha Kim

don’t bother…I really wanted to like it. I was obviously ok paying more for an eco-friendly product. But this is just way too bad in all other respects. It is really difficult to use. Every time I try to rip out a section, it almost always rips in the middle, and perforated edges do not really help. The packaging was done quite poorly as well so it’s hard to use that to neatly pull out a section neatly. I am probably not really explaining this very well, but it’s just so frustratingly difficult to use. I am giving it a two-star rating only because I do not feel right about giving an eco-friendly product less than that.

  6. Josh Keyser

Very WeakI was pretty pumped about this product because I’m trying to minimize my plastic use, but this wrap is incredibly fragile. It will split into pieces length-wise just by pulling a sheet out, so instead of ending up with one solid sheet, you get several smaller frayed pieces. It’s also perforated rather than including a cutter, so it doesn’t actually seal anything with longer sheets. It sticks relatively well to itself so that’s a plus, as a lot of wraps I’ve used do not. But all in all, it’s way too brittle to be used as an effective plastic wrap alternative.

  7. JHamm

Good substitute for regular glad wrapWhile I have not had this long enough to know how long it takes to compost it works well.* it’s primary problem is the lack of an effective cutting edge so get your scissors out. It certainly is as sticky as regular ‘saran’ wraps.

  8. Amazon Customer

sticks great… to itselfLike so many ideas, this is a great product in theory. In practice, it’s great if you want to spend some zen downtime carefully peeling this wrap from itself, carefully trying (and probably failing) to tear it in pre-perforated segments which are never quite the right size, and carefully attempting to prevent it from sticking to itself, only to discover that the wrap won’t stick to much of anything besides itself. If saving the planet from two rolls of plastic wrap is worth that, then you should love this product. Otherwise, maybe take a pass on this.

  9. Jean Turner

Impossible to tearThis is a fabulous idea. But this does not work. First it is impossible to tear along the serrated lines. Second as you attempt to tear it off it starts sticking to itself and you end up with a balled up mess. Also it is hard to pull the wrap out of the box. Fix the problem with the nasty tearing first.

  10. Stephanie Rossi

Terrible productIt shreds to pieces trying to remove it off the roll. Nearly impossible to get a full sheet. The box has no decent serrated edge to tear a piece off. Good thing it’s compostable because both boxes were a complete waste.
