TEST/SILENCE FUNCTION

With an easy-to-press test/silence button, you can manually test the alarm to ensure everything is working properly or temporarily silence any annoying false alarms.

    For TravelPerfect size for travel most places overseas have fire alarms but not carbon monoxide detectors. This is a good size for travel and alarm is loud. Can stand alone without having to mount it on the wall. Thankfully don’t know how well it detects carbon monoxide. Hope I don’t have to find out.

    Works properly but hard to close battery door.The alarm sounds on test and i like the design. The battery door gets caught on two springy loops when you try to slide the battery door closed.

    Stupid battery door designThe thing works fine and it’s great for the money. My grip is about the battery compartment door, it only closes if you insert batteries in it, IT DOESN’T CLOSE IF THERE ARE NO BATTERIES IN IT!I mean, what a stupid design, I don’t want to store the thing with batteries inside, I just want to use it for a season to keep the gas heater from killing me.I ended up applying some tape on top of the two metal thingies that retract when a battery is inserted and that solved it but only a genius like me would have thought of that.
