HOW ARE THEY MANUFACTURED, AND IS THE PROCESS ECO-FRIENDLY?

They are harvested roughly 1 foot above the ground and are transported to a nearby factory to be hand cut to length and sanded down before being allowed to dry for a certain time depending on the season and humidity levels. The cut and dried bamboo is then entered into a hand machine that shapes bamboo into a toothbrush shape. Here the bamboo toothbrush is treated with vegetable oil to give it quality and resistance to water. The next element of the production line is the hole into which bristles are pressed into. 39 precise holes are punched into the top of bamboo at an incredible 4 toothbrushes being punched at a time. The charcoal-infused bristles are then pressed into the head of the brush.

HOW DOES IT WORK IN COMPARISON TO SIMILAR PRODUCTS?

Pull the bristles out with pliers and recycle them. Throw the bamboo handle in the bio-waste bin. It takes 6 months to dispose of completely.
